Over half the homes in the district are at risk from flooding. Even if you don't live near the coast or a river, surface water flooding can happen after heavy rainfall when the drains can't cope.
Check if your home is at risk
You can check if your home is at risk from river, coastal or surface water flooding by checking the flood warning information service, or by phoning 0345 988 1188.
