You must be 18 or over.
You must have an operating licence or have an application for one in progress.
Operating licences are issued by the Gambling Commission
You must have the right to occupy the premises

Advertising your application
You must send a copy of your application to the following responsible authorities:
- View our Gambling Commission, Kent Police, HMRC and Child Protection (KCC Social Services)
- Download Notice to responsible authorities of transfer form A [individual applicant]
- Download Notice to responsible authorities of transfer form B [multiple applicants]
You do not need to advertise your application in a newspaper or display a site notice.
What happens next?
If no representations are received, we will issue your licence within 5 working days.
If representations are received, we will hold a hearing of a licensing sub-committee which all parties are invited to attend. The committee will decide whether to grant or refuse the application.
