Helping you save money on energy bills

The Warm Homes scheme is a partnership project between us and Kent County Council to support you in saving energy in your home.

If you are experiencing high energy bills or you are living in a cold home, you can apply online via KCC to see if you're eligible for assistance.

Warm Homes Fund

Funding for eligible households (in receipt of benefits or on a low income with a health condition that is impacted by living in a cold home) to be connected to the gas mains, and first time gas central heating system. This funding is for either owned or privately rented homes that do not have:

  • a gas meter / pipework connecting to the gas mains
  • an existing gas or any other 'wet' central heating system in the property
  • and is near to existing mains gas

Our commitment to improving energy efficiency

The Home Energy Conservation Act requires local councils in England, which have housing responsibilities, to report their own priorities, ambitions and the measures being taken to improve energy efficiency of their residential accommodation.
