We have established a Licensing Forum which allows for a platform of communication between key stakeholders, providing a structured environment for collaborative working, best practice and shares community challenges between business, residents, police, and the local authority.
The last meeting was held on 18 January 2024 at the Civic Centre. It was attended by:
- Kent Police
- Folkestone & Hythe District Council - Licensing & Environmental Protection
- Folkestone & Hythe District Council - Community Safety Unit
- Representatives from the Alliance of Folkestone Residents' Association and Leas Residents' Association
- Representatives from local businesses
- The Cabinet Member for Transport, Regulatory Services and Building Control
- The Chair of the Planning and Licensing Committee
- The Chair of the Folkestone Community Forum
- Kent Fire & Rescue
