From 'sleighing food waste' to 'being a wrap star' Folkestone & Hythe District Council's latest campaign will help residents to make this Christmas their greenest one yet.
The Greener Christmas campaign will showcase tips and tricks that can be used to make the festive season more environmentally friendly.
Cllr Lesley Whybrow, Cabinet Member for the Environment, said "Whether it's not using glitter or trying your hand at the wrapping paper 'scrunch test' everyone can get involved with making these holidays kinder to the planet.'
"The small changes we can make during the festive season can have a big impact."
Cllr Stuart Peall - Cabinet Member for Enforcement, Regulatory Services, Waste and Building Control - added: "We are bringing back our popular real Christmas tree recycling scheme, meaning residents can dispose of them easily in an eco-friendly way"
"I also encourage residents to double check the date of their waste collections over the festive period as there will be some changes."
Leader Cllr David Monk said: "This campaign provides an opportunity for us to all think about the ways we can reduce our carbon footprint this Christmas and make our district a greener place for all."
