Data transparency

This Local Government Transparency Code sets out the minimum data that we should be publishing, the frequency it should be published and how it should be published

The aim of the code is to place more power into citizens' hands and increase democratic accountability. It makes it easier for local people to contribute to the decision making process and help shape public services.

  • Our constitution

    Our constitution describes how we operate, makes sure we perform well, and are transparent

  • Local authority land

    Download our latest asset register, containing details of all our land and building assets

  • Payments to suppliers

    We publish lists of all payments of £250 and over to suppliers monthly. For data protection reasons, payments to individuals are redacted

  • Senior salaries

    We are required to publish the salaries of senior officers

  • Pay multiples

    The pay multiple is the ratio between the earnings of the highest paid employee and the median earnings figure of our employees

  • Grants to voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations

    Find out the monetary amount, the type of organisation and activity it funds, and start and end dates

  • Trade union facility time

    There is a statutory requirement on the council to collate and publish, on an annual basis, a range of data on the amount and costs of trade union facility time.

  • Parking accounts

    The number of parking spaces managed by us, and the amount on income and expenditure generated by parking

  • Organisation chart
